One thing I wish when I first started. Pick 1-2 platform and stick to it for 50 iterations. Video: Youtube/TikTok Blog: Webflow/Wordpress Newsletter: Substack/Convertkit Ecommerce: Shopify Podcast: Buzzsprout/Anchor Spent my first 3 months doing too much.

Stop overcomplicating SEO. If you are a beginner, just learn the following: - WordPress - Researching low competition topics - Keyword research - On-page SEO - Crafting high-quality content - Creating topical authority Take action and learn more as you go along!

Why would a client want to pay for a website when they can just code it (for "free") with: - Shopify - Wix - WordPress - WebFlow ??? Here's my answer 🧵👇

Roll call 🙌 Where’s my WordPress enterprise level humans at?! Woot woot!!! 🎉 I’ll start: 👋 Hi, I’m Daniel and I’m usually brought in to handle large website redesign / overhauls / migrations to WordPress for governments, associations, and nonprofit orgs.

Today, I cowboy-coded and fixed a bug. 1. Didn't have the site setup locally 2. It was urgent 3. Had SFTP credentials 4. Knew I can revert it back in SFTP if a fatal error occurs 5. I am a señor WordPress developer Don't follow this advice.

#100Devs, you can ABSOLUTELY do this. I had no coding experience when I first made websites for paying clients on SQSP/WordPress. They didn't want to make a site & were happy to pay someone to do it. Don't worry about your HTML/CSS! It's not as important as you think.

🤦‍♂️ Got fired 🎓 Learned WordPress, Shopify, and code 📢 Volunteered with nonprofits to get out there 💰 Paying my bills

Almost got a $150k WordPress project with a partner. At the meeting, they lowered their budget below $100k so the partner dropped it. When a client makes such sudden decisions, it might not be worth running after them, even if the $$$ looks like a dream.

I was supposed to be flying to San Diego today. Sadly, I am not going. I am really sorry I will not be able to speak and meet all those wonderful WordPress people. My father is having surgery today. On top of that, we’re in a hectic situation at Yoast.

You realize you've matured as a Bubble developer when you're not afraid to talk about its downsides. SEO, page load speed, animations... all of these are MUCH better on Webflow or WordPress. Bubble is awesome and improving every day, but it shouldn't be used for everything!

As a UI UX Designer who wants to add more value for more money Learn at least 3 of these low code tools 🏷️ Airtable 🏷️ Zapier 🏷️ Salesforce 🏷️ Bubble 🏷️ Flutterflow 🏷️ Webflow 🏷️ Notion 🏷️ Zoho 🏷️ Wordpress Good thing is you can learn and know 3 out of these tools in 3 weeks

Know how to create a website. That’s all you need to start freelancing. Whether that’s just HTML and CSS or Wordpress, Shopify, WebFlow, etc. Don’t worry about learning 1731 frameworks. Just start with this knowledge, then improve from there.

WordPress Developers,. According to latest news in WordPress 6.1 update, WebP format will be the default image format in WordPress. 😀 So if you upload a JPG it will be converted to WebP automatically. Let me know what you guys think about it😄

I think WordPress as a backend API consumed by Next.js/Nuxt.js is a powerhouse that's currently slept on. You get all the performance, with the comfort and familiarity of WP.
