Minimalism in modern times is the practice of living with fewer possessions and focusing on what is most important. This can involve decluttering and simplifying one's living space, as well as reducing consumption and living more sustainably.

In the age of social media, minimalism can also involve reducing the amount of time spent on social media and limiting the number of accounts one has, as well as curating one's online presence and only sharing meaningful content.

By embracing minimalism, individuals can focus on what is most important to them and find greater clarity, purpose, and happiness. It's important to find a balance that works for each individual and aligns with their values and goals.

I just finished a mentorship session with a UI/UX designer and we talked through what he could do better. Here are some of the lessons from our session. 1. Stop avoiding colors in the name of ‘minimalism’. Nature uses colors tastefully. Learn from Nature. 🌺

The youngest composers who reacted against serialism in the US are now retirement age. Minimalism and neo-Romanticism has been part of the establishment for decades. Why pretend that this isn't the case?

I used to be into the minimalism movement until I realized it's pushed by the Cabal- "you will own nothing and be happy" Minimalism is out, conscious consumption from an energetic place of abundance and not scarcity is in

Millennials enjoy minimalism and organization so much because our parents were borderline hoarders with so much stuff for stuff sake that having no clutter just feels so calming.

The first time I “felt rich” was when my wife and I were 24, making 50k together and we learned to live off half of that. Make fun of minimalism/frugality but we couldn’t have built this without doing that. We didn’t come from money and had to provide our own seed capital.

Alan Lancaster Status Quo RIP - in the seventies he was part of the denim machine that invented rock minimalism with a perfect run of singles - underrated but quite brilliant

Tiny Homes and this push for Minimalism are a psyop Minimalism at its core has some good philosophical points But the promotion of Tiny houses and minimalism are to get you used to having less and living in a cubicle

It’s time to cancel minimalism in 2022 we’re wearing ball gowns to the grocery store, channeling art nouveau for the most boring rooms in our houses, and making macarons for breakfast

There's minimalism, and then there's putting no work in. Learn the difference

All the best interior design is in the 70s 80s, why did we have to fall in love with Minimalism. Decor used to be so creative and fun

Christians have for too long operated on a principle of “theological minimalism.” What we need is “theological maximalism.” A full-orbed theology that addresses every area of life.

The Supreme Court dealt punishing blows to voting rights, labor, access to the courts, Democratic governors’ public health orders, and 13 humans on death row Donald Trump rushed to execute. But overall the term that just ended was marked by consensus and minimalism, we’re told.

I watched an Insta Influencer talk about minimalism from a 5 star hotel suite and am totally convinced about it now. You really don't need much if you have room service, house keeping & spa on demand.

Signs of great documentation: - examples over explanations - humor over dullness - consistency over minimalism What would you add?👇

If you think this is bad wait until the next generation finds out what we did to animals and tears down all the statues of meat eaters. I hope you like minimalism.

I see a lot of minimalism in design that feels empty. That’s not the idea. Minimalism is about using a little to create a lot. Giving the eye both a place to rest but also to focus.

Not long ago, the dream was to live in a mansion and drive a fancy car. Nowadays, people don't want to own houses, a car or even a TV. Minimalism is making people happy and I love it. The lack of stuff gives people the freedom to live anywhere anytime.

I am moving to another city in June. I’ve thrown away four boxes worth of stuff in anticipation. Minimalism is awesome.

Minimalism in design only works if you considered and refined every detail of what you want to show to perfection. Otherwise it's just kinda lazy.
