There’s a lot of confirmation bias about nutrition on Twitter. I know what works for me, but I try to stay curious and open-minded. Not always easy to do. #keto #carnivore

Fitness myths that need to die: - Fasting helps build muscle. - Burpees are a great exercise. - Knees should never go over toes. - Eating 5 meals a day to stoke metabolism. - Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. - Keto burns more fat than a regular caloric deficit.

I want to see people healthy, happy, and thriving. I don't care how they get there. I got there through keto, carnivore, an emphasis on animal-source foods, and exercise. What's your way?

What the hell happened to the good ‘ol days of eating protein, vegetables, & dairy when hungry & until satiated. Make a dam keto treat, eat low sugar fruits or get a low carb replacement when cravings are bad. Y’all complicating shit, stop it! Dr. Atkins had it right.

My clients lose weight by doing zero cardio, eating carbs at night, drinking water & lifting heavy. I’ve “cured” allergies, sleep apnea, skin issues, IBS & a plethora of other curable diseases. You don’t need the keto or carnivore or “insert name” diet. Just be healthy.

Stop worrying about super-niche fitness strategies. Worry about - 8 hours sleep - Training hard enough - Calorie surplus for muscle gain. Those are what actually move the needle. Not whether you fast or do keto.

2 weeks ago, I instructed GPT-4 to raise my 6 month old 48 hours later, he was the most successful infant VC in "the valley" Now he wakes up at 4am to workout, ice bath and intermittent fast until his 5pm keto diet starts Here are 7 life lessons he taught me before 7am today

after 11 miserable months I seem to be recovered from #LongCovid! Feeling better than ever 😊 I also fixed some neuroimmune issues that go back to my teens. I did it with a keto diet, supplements and antifungal meds for candida.

The keto literature is generally terrible. The best studies don't tend to show anything special. The studies most biased toward keto still tend to show recidivism and/or paltry findings anyway. Hate to break it to the low carb folks, but your pet diet is basically a meme. 🤷♂️

I’ll say it straight up. I’m anti keto, anti carnivore, anti fasting, and anti biohacking. I truly don’t give two shits if you feel temporarily better following these restrictive and unnecessary approaches that doesn’t make them magical or sustainable long term.

The biggest reasons for stalls? 1. Overeating fat 2. Counting net carbs 3. Eating anything that says keto on it 4. Overeating nuts & dairy 5. Bulletproof coffee 6. Alcohol 7. Stress & Sleep 8. Hyperpalatable keto treats 9. Social Media 10. Lack of support

Keto is used as an important part of most cancer treatments. Maybe it should be used before cancer develops. And maybe it could be useful in encouraging prevention.

No, keto and low-carb isn’t the “only” way you can lose weight. It’s just the better option when it comes to better metabolic health, cravings, nutrient dense food, ease of diet, satiety, sustainability, etc.

Can’t be overstated how much better I feel on copious amounts of sugar Strictly Keto had me walking around like a zombie, too tired to train Never experienced negative effects from sugar, period. Makes me more shredded & powerful than anything else Fat makes you slow. Sugar >

I ate a pretty strict ketogenic diet for over a year (<50g carbs per day) Since incorporating copious amounts of fruit back into my diet, I can say with 100% certainty that I’m happier, more jacked, and have less cravings than when I did keto God’s Candy🍓🍇🍎🍉🍑🍊🍋🍍🍌🍐🥭🫐

If you’re doing keto for weight loss, remember that it’s about restricting carbs. It’s NOT a fat eating competition. You want to “eat” your own body fat with the help of low insulin state by limiting carbs. I prefer a whole food, low carb, moderate fat, higher protein approach.

If you're a beginner with the gym, DO NOT worry about: - Fasting - Biohacking - Extreme diets like Keto. You need to nail the fundamentals first: - High-protein - Compound exercises - Eating the right number of calories Those are way more important.

90% of the people that come to me are hung up on what diet to follow. Mediterranean Carnivore Vegan DASH Keto They're all wrong. If you can't stick with it. Your diet isn't always a static process. Consider this...

I'll exploit myself: 2019ー prediabetic A1C 5.7, inflammed, terrible gut issues (ibs), insomnia, joint pain 2020- keto, then carnivore shortly after. ALL symptoms dissipated within that year. To this day, the only time I experience the symptoms is when I eat what I used to.

The Biggest issue isn't vegan, keto, or anything in between. It's: is the food poisoned via pesticides, PFAs, dioxins, GMOs, irradiation, hormones, preservatives, flavors, & over-processing?

People who say that keto is a fad, unsustainable or dangerous don’t understand what it means. They’re basically saying that eating real ancestral whole food is dangerous & unsustainable, but eating highly processed food is healthier & more sustainable. Keto = real whole food

Why can’t people just eat normal? It’s always vegan to keto/carnivore to Peater. Why can’t people simply eat nose to tail + raw honey + raw dairy + seasonal fruits + some fats + pasture raised eggs + vegetables properly prepared? Why has everything to go to the extreme?
