There's a gap between the life you have now and the life you want. That gap is bridged by discipline and you build it one day at a time.

Fitness is more than lifting weights and eating right. You must take care of your mind and your happiness, or the rest is pointless. It's OK to: - Take a break from the grind. - Say no to things you don't want to do. - Distance yourself from people who don't make you happy.

You can't blame your genetics for your physique when you: - Don't lift - Sit all day - Sleep 5 hours - Avoid eating meat - Drink 500 calorie "coffees" - Snack on junk between meals - Eat cereal and pastries for breakfast - Only get one serving of protein per day t.co/MGJIbORrSp

The solution to work dinners and social is simple. Eat less beforehand. Save yourself more calories than you think you'll need. During the day, get in as much protein as possible for as few calories as possible. Aim to balance it all out.

My 6 day old son is looking to gain 10 lbs of mass in the next 6 months. All he does is sleep and eat. He doesn't fast. He even wakes up at night to eat. Lessons here.

If when you're in your later years, you want to be able to: - Walk up stairs easily - Hike trails - Pick up your grandkids You need to train for it now before the muscle wastes away. Lunges, squats, deadlifts etc. Build muscle now. Have a better life later.

- 60 lbs down - 11% body fat - in the shape of his life at 42 The stuff I say works. The key thing was he did it for 8 months. This was without me knowing he existed. Now imagine what you could do if I was guiding you & holding you accountable. t.co/rdgj53fsp1
