Don't lift weights to impress others in the gym. If you're going through a quarter of the range of motion, no-one is impressed and you're achieving nothing.

You don't have to be motivated to work out. Just go anyway. If it's a shitty workout, it doesn't matter. They can't all be amazing 10/10 workouts. Just get it done. Keep the streak going.

You wouldn't set off on a journey with a destination and no idea how to get there. So don't head to the gym with a goal and no plan.

It's not a big deal if you miss one workout. Just make sure you go next time. One of the biggest mistakes people make is quitting as soon as the streak ends. It doesn't matter! Just try not to miss twice.

I witnessed a woman in the gym have a conversation on the phone whilst doing some Smith machine squats. If you can hold a conversation while lifting, you're not training ANYWHERE NEAR hard enough. And if you're not fully focused on your sets, just go home.
