I just had a lightbulb moment 💡 & realized I've been talking about the 'pillars' of adult content creation businesses, but never really dived in to discuss what those are or could be, so let's discuss 🧵🪡

You're going to want to save this 😎

Every business will consist of different 'pillars', basically different avenues you utilize to earn money in your business as an adult content creator. Each pillar I'm going to list will have pros & cons to consider before choosing to implement it into your personal business 👇🏼

1) Live streaming (webcam modeling)

Pros ➕ Can be very profitable, you don't need to produce or sell content, & can be a fantastic way to build an audience if you're just starting out in the space & don't have a following (this is how I got into adult myself)

Cons ➖ Can be emotionally/mentally taxing, revenue can vary vastly from day to day & internet trolling is real. Not passive revenue earning. Time intensive, you must show up/put in the time to grow a big enough base to be financially secure.

My take is that this is still one of the cheapest/most effective ways to expose yourself to new audiences & convert them. Interacting live w fans converts highly because they know you're real, & can see your personality on display.

2) Sexting/Audio Calls/Video Calls

Pros ➕ You don't need to know how to produce full-length videos, & can rely on real-time mini clips/pics. You can earn even without being makeup rdy (sexting/audio calls). You can operate without major tech (just a phone). @SextPanther

Cons ➖ Can be time intensive (sexting). Not passive revenue earning (unless you utilize the 'feed' so you can get unlocks. To maximize video call earnings, must be camera rdy (in whatever that means to you as a creator)

My take is this is a great way to build extreme rapport w fans, who are more loyal/spend more $ because they feel they have more access to you 1-on-1 which few other avenues offer. A low-tech biz that can accompany other biz pieces seamlessly.

Pros ➕ Not time intensive, you create one content piece that can sell forever. Truly passive income. Great to create new fans & gain exposure to new audiences. Compounding effect, as your library grows so will your income.

Cons ➖ You must know how to create/produce content. You may need equipment & tech (lighting/computer). You may not sell much in the beginning. You need to consistently post new clips.

My take is, clip sites should be a pillar in everyone's adult creator business if they make content. (Because if you're already making content, why wouldn't you want to sell/profit off of it forever - residually)

Pros ➕ Fans are familiar w this biz model because subscription businesses are trending rn. A great way to build a community. Cost-effective for fans. Low barrier of entry, most pages have free trials or discounted first 30 days for fans.

Cons ➖ Must know how to produce content. Most create new content consistently. Time intensive (scheduling content/interacting in DMs)

My take is, this is an important part of our business model right now as it provides some resemblance of stability. Subscription revenue tends to be more predictable in comparison to other pillars, which tend to vary more drastically.

Pros ➕ You can make money exposing other creators to your fans/audience. You will increase your 'posts' number on your fansite because you're posting other creators.

Cons ➖ Sometimes fans hate seeing shoutouts/ads for other creators on your fan site/socials. It can seem inauthentic. It can water down the value of your fansite/social to your target audience.

My take is, this is a great way to earn $ by capitalizing on your audience. I think there's a time/place for it in our biz. My suggestion is to sell shoutouts on your FREE fansite & make your VIP 'Ad Free' as a value add to encourage your fans to upgrade 😎

@SextPanther 6) Selling physical goods (panties etc)

Pros ➕ You can buy the goods cheaply & mark them up high - meaning they can have good profit margins. You don't need to make content to do this (although it helps). Not time intensive.

Cons ➖ Difficult to build an audience (only doing this). Can be a hassle to ship. Can be difficult to calculate profit depending on where you have to ship it & the shipping cost.

My take is, although I do this it's not a massively profitable part of my business. If your audience is interested in this, I suggest you do it, just make sure what you charge ensures it will be a profitable endeavor.

Pros ➕ Earn money on the audience you've already built. Not time intensive. Truly passive income. You can be an affiliate to your fans/audience as well as to other creators. No content/No need to be camera ready.

Cons ➖ Must have an active & engaged audience. (Must have an audience in general). Must track & manage your affiliate links/revenue.

My take is, EVERY CREATOR should be implementing affiliate marketing in their biz. Not just for adult sites you send fans to, tools you suggest for models, but just general products you love etc. This is a massive $ opportunity most creators miss.

Here's why I still maintain 'clip stores' as a part of my business model, & why you should to.. 🧵🪡

1) A clip store like ManyVids & Clips4Sale (as well as others) is one of the few ways adult content creators can make genuine passive/residual income. Unlike fansites, or live cam, where you have to invest time scheduling content or live streaming consistently.. ⏱

2) Clip stores typically have a good amount of traffic coming to their sites because they contain many clips aggregated from a large number of creators. Meaning even if you don't have a massive fanbase/following, you can still monetize well & get exposure to potential new fans 😎

3) While we live in an age of subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu etc) there is still a huge part of the market that WILL NOT carry a subscription. So if you're not allowing the sale of clips independently on a clip store, you're missing that entire segment of the market entirely.. 🤯

Each adult creator business will consist of different 'pillars', but making sure at least 1 of yours is a clip store that you continue to build a library on will ensure a future you will have money coming in long after you've stopped hitting the record button 🎥

I'm only sharing what's worked for me as an adult content creator, & not gatekeep info that might work for you. Nothing is ever one-size-fits-all, & certain tips are more valuable depending on what level you're at career-wise. Feel free to take what's useful & leave what's not ❤️

I had a realization today that I know fundamentally 10x'd my business. I don't think I've ever clearly put this into words before so today I decided I'm going to try to.. 🧵🪡

A huge part of business is optimization. Another way to 'frame' that is to think "How can I remove all the resistance in my business". Or in my personal words, how can I add lube to this so things run more smoothly lol 🤣

Here are all the ways I've optimized, or 'removed resistance' to streamline my adult content creator business.. 👇🏼

1) I film on an iPhone. Not because I don't have big fancy thousand-dollar cameras (I do..) but because filming & editing on my phone saves me time, & allows me to pump out more content - faster. I don't want to lose time transferring or exporting files etc.

2) I use scheduling tools available to me. I schedule tweets (Tweetdeck), IG posts/reels (Instagram released scheduling) etc. Make it a habit on Sundays, to schedule your social presence for the week - so I can focus on the 1 thing that can't be optimized, me filming new content.

3) I pre-plan all the content I'm filming. I lay out the lingerie, write out the plot, make a note of the angles, make a note of the lighting I want, lay out the props/toys, so when I show up to film all the variables are already decided. I just start shooting.

There are probably a zillion other things I'm forgetting to mention, but I'd love to know what small things you do as an adult creator to help you streamline your business. If we all share our little tips & tricks, maybe we can help each other optimize even more ❤️

A business requires 2 basic things: 

1) Product
2) Distribution 

As adult content creators, our 'content' is our product, and our 'platforms' are our distribution. 

Here's why this matters 🧵🪡

Disclaimer: We also provide services, like sexting etc but for this ex let's focus on the product side. 

The reality is that distribution is typically where we fail to execute properly. Let me explain why..

Making sure the platform you're choosing to run your business' distribution through should be based on a variety of factors..

1) Your content. Some platforms don't allow certain types of content - make sure the home you choose allows what you personally create

2) Make sure the platforms you choose for distribution cater to your target audience. Onlyfans typically skews very vanilla, Loyalfans skews more fetish, Fansly allows content others deny, JustForFans has a great gay audience base etc (I'm generalizing but you get the idea)

3) If you're a new creator, I'd suggest focusing on 1 platform & building your audience there. As a seasoned creator, I'd suggest diversifying across multiple to expose you to larger potential audiences (while still focusing on promoting your 1 main home on socials)

Consider which platforms make the most sense for YOU as a creator & the audience YOU want to cultivate ❤️ Once you've mastered your main domain, expand across others 💪🏼 #CEOsquad
