If you want to lose 50 lbs, you can do it in 6 months. But you'll feel much better while doing it (and be more likely to sustain it) if it takes you a year.

Which would you rather? Live until 100 but spend the last 20 years very frail and needing assistance to do everything... Or live until 80 and remain strong and independent until the end.

What's your go-to meal for staying full for as long as possible without blowing your calorie budget? Mine is those oval shaped things that come out of a chicken.

You do not need to eat anything specific to burn fat. You'll burn fat eating anything as long as you're in a calorie deficit. Good foods for fat loss are things that keep you fuller for longer, without using up much of your calorie budget.

Not eating enough will kill your fat loss attempts. No, I'm not talking about "starvation mode". But unsustainably low calories will result in failure. At some point you'll probably binge eat everything you deprived yourself of and undo your own work.

If you're a 45 year old with: - Average genetics - A high stress job - Awful sleep because your kids keep waking up - A low protein convenience diet Then you shouldn't be following a 20 year old bodybuilder's high volume, high frequency, high intensity program.
