Sometimes you do all the right things and the scale stays the same every day for a week. The key here is not giving up. You don't need to lower your calories if nothing has changed from the last few weeks when you were seeing constant progress, You need patience.

Fast weight loss usually = fast weight regain The slower way is often the better way. This may be the same as the fast way but saying yes to more things. Yes to one takeaway. Yes to a meal out. Yes to a cookie. This is balance. Knowing when to be strict and when to relax.

Working out will make you more money. Here's how: Training hard will help you to sleep better. You'll make better decisions and perform better at work. You'll have more focus and more energy. You'll reduce stress. You'll look and feel better. This will all be noticed.

You weigh more today because you slammed a load of food yesterday with a lot of salt and carbs. This causes water retention (plus there's more stomach content). If you're doing the right things your progress will show over weeks and months. Not days.

If you have no time to work out, do this. 1. Stop lying to yourself. 2. Check your phone's screen time. Oh look, I just found 4 hours per day!

Keep your fat loss efforts to yourself until you have some significant momentum behind you. That guy at the office who lost some weight 5 years ago but has since gained it all back will tell you you're doing it all wrong.

A diet isn't a success because you lost X number of lbs in Y number of weeks. It's a success because you learned how to make progress and sustain it.
