Darren has gotten down to 15% BF (measured by DEXA) from about 19% whilst working with me. This might give you some idea of how much fat you're got to lose to get rid of those love handles. t.co/zAFmtIY70z

No one talks about this: When you're eating less and losing fat you'll fart and shit less. Shits are smaller too. Many positives!

You don't need to eat chicken, rice and broccoli... You don't need to ever eat liver or make bone broth... You just need to understand calories and macronutrients. Then just get stronger on a handful of exercises that cover your whole body and you're well on your way.

Lose enough fat and it will look like you're gaining muscle. Jim is finding this out on Shred in 60! ๐Ÿ‘‡ t.co/pd5mwMKWzB

Having a new baby is tough. It is often a death knell for a dad's fitness routine (at least short term). It gets sacrificed amidst sleepless nights, new responsibilities, helping out more around the house and still keeping going to work. Here's how I managed the situation ๐Ÿ‘‡

You can max your training impact with 6 sets daily, rotating muscle groups. - 1 set + 3 min rest = 4 min. - Add 5 sets + 15 min rest = 20 min. - 6th set takes just 1 min more. Six sets = max stimulus for a muscle in one training session. Do it 6-7x a week & you'll do well.

Generally prefer home gym, because you will make the money back, you set an example to your kids and they can use it too, you can customise, and it's open any time and never has anyone else there But I do miss some of the machinery of a well stocked commercial gym. t.co/OpJtGwQbTV

Things I wish I had known sooner: - Longer workouts aren't always better - More calories doesn't mean more gains - Short workouts (20 minutes) are still worthwhile - You should get protein at every meal - Max weight lifts aren't ideal for getting stronger What about you?

"I'm looking at hunger differently now. Realising it doesn't need to be treated immediately." This is true. People often "over treat" their hunger. Feel a bit hungry between meals and then eat 500 calories. Hunger isn't always a problem you need to address. t.co/SqDrNHBpmz
