Dads, the scale isn't the only measure of progress. If your: - Clothes fit better - Waist measures smaller - Reflection in the mirror looks better - Eating habits are better - Confidence is greater - Energy is higher That's all progress too.

When your reps start to look different, the set is over. When you can no longer complete a rep unassisted (for example on bench press), the set is over. Say no to sloppy reps.

There's a difference between: - Taking muscles to exhaustion (or close to) and - workouts that exhaust you. One is good for building muscle, the other is not.

Dads, You don't build muscle in the gym. You break it down. There is a limit on how much you're able to recover from - even more so when you're older and suffer from poor sleep. Less is more.
