I made mistakes in my adult creator business that cost me tens of thousands of dollars 😱

3 painful lessons I learned (so you don’t have to) 🧵👇

Example 1 🥺
I didn't fire someone sooner. I've let emotions cloud my judgment (because I too am human lol) You need to hire the MOST qualified person for the job. End of story. No exceptions. Hire fast / Fire fast, find your all-stars, and don't settle until you do.

Lesson Learned 📝
You have to put your business first, & base decisions on the data.

Now I hire qualified people who are better than me at the role I'm hiring them for. I spend $$$ on their salary accordingly.

Example 2 🥺
I let my ego drive decision-making. Just because you can do 1,000 things - doesn't mean you should. If I hadn't launched @ShopNetworthy when I did, @SexWorkCEO would be a bigger success. But my ego wanted so badly to have both so both suffered..

Focus on one thing. It will be more successful than the 7 things that divide your attention. It's pretty arrogant to think that me splitting attention on 7 things is going to win against my competitor focusing 100% of their attention on that one..

I invested resources in the wrong places. Make sure things you spend money on - you can track a direct ROI from. Did that shoutout earn you what you spent? Did that virtual assistant you hired to do tasks directly make you $? No? Change their tasks. Pivot.

A mistake I might be making now (jury is still out) Is that I left $25,000+/month on the table to voluntarily end multiple working relationships I had so I could have more time to focus on SWCEO..  Will it pay off? Time will tell 😅
