How you can level up your prices 🧵 (while minimizing the risk of losing fans)

The reality is 95% of us are undercharging...Why? 

1) We lack confidence
2) We're bad at valuing our services
3) We didn't research our own market

Whatever the reason, the result is the same: We get stuck charging the lowest possible prices.

Here is a strategy you can use to systematically raise your prices, without having to 'guess' or 'hope' our way to higher prices & better returns on our content 👇

1️⃣ First, establish your benchmark. Take time to research creators similar in following size and niche as you creator-wise. What are they charging? Subscribe to their pages, check out their clip stores & live streams. Get an idea of what prices they charge for things.

2️⃣ Second, make sure you have a place for low-spending fans to 'land'. This is a free page, where you can park fans until you can upgrade them to your VIP pages with persuasive conversations in DMs. This will help reduce your fan losses when you raise pricing.

3️⃣ Third, raise prices incrementally. Charge $1 more for the next PPV you send. Raise your page price by $1.99. The reason Netflix has been able to raise their prices & we all stay is because "What $1 or $2 more a month". But if they doubled it we'd see more people canceling..

✍️ A great rule of thumb with pricing is if you win 3/4 of the sales at the current price, you can likely raise it. If I pitch 10 fans a custom in DMs, at $100 for 10min, & 7+ of them purchase it - it's time to raise prices.

💡 Things to keep in mind, if you're not using the best copy, thumbnails, & persuasive sales writing, that could also impact your purchase rates. So make sure you're testing with these variables optimized so the only other variable as to why they didn't buy is the price

💡 The lower the price point, oftentimes the lower the quality of the fan. Low-quality fans are harder to sell to & will require more time & energy than high-quality fans who can afford the luxury you are to them..

If you want to raise prices, remember the 🔑 to knowing if it's the right call for YOU is by testing, tracking, & implementing. For as many pages I see that are underpriced, I see ones that are overpriced as well. There is no way to 'shortcut' the 'boring work' of running tests.
