How I overcome and even prevent burnout as an adult content creator 🧵

1) Schedule breaks, or take impromptu ones. I didn't realize the magic 'taking breaks' had until last yr. When I'm frustrated or stuck on something, I go for a walk, a drive, or switch up my task. My best ideas come on breaks. So do my biggest breakthroughs.

2) Simplify your workload. Staring at my long to-do list overwhelms me. But my baby (daily) to-do list, I can manage. It looks like this:

1- Promote OF/SP on socials
2-Shoot pic set + new video
3-Schedule pic set + new video
4-Reply to OF dms + SP texts

3) Get ahead. Once you're scheduled in advance the energy is different. You buy yourself a bit of freedom & lighten the burden on yourself by scheduling out. Imagine being 1 month out on your fansite & only needing to make/schedule 1 thing daily. It's SO MUCH more manageable.

4) Use all automation tools available to you. On your fansite, your social media, & in your business. Optimize & automate as much as humanly possible. For Tw I use Tweetdeack. For IG you can schedule in app. For OF I use the queue. Put systems in place so you can succeed.

5) This is probably the single MOST important one - give yourself grace.

You are a one-person corporation. You are the product, the service, the distribution, the customer service, the everything. You need to give yourself grace if you don't nail it every single day. 👇🏼

You simply try again tmrw, & chalk it up to being 1 step closer to mastering self-discipline. Because you woke up today & committed all over again. That's what sets you apart from others, & causes your biz to stand the test of time. Be kind to yourself. You're doing the MOST 👑
