Building strong rapport with your fans is essential for a well-engaged community & fanbase.

Here are some tactics to help you build strong relationships with your audience 🧵🪡

Show your personality. Share your interests, opinions, and quirks with your audience to create a personal connection. (This was REALLY hard for me to do, but when I did my engagement increased). Just like any relationship, you've gotta 'let people in'.

Engage with your fans on social media. Respond to comments and messages, and use polls and other interactive features to encourage engagement and build a sense of community. Them 'commenting' into the void only teaches them to stop commenting. Let them know they're heard 👂

Show appreciation for your fans. Thank them for their support, feature them in your content, repost their kind words to your story and offer exclusive content or discounts as a reward for their loyalty.

Use storytelling to create emotional connections. Share stories and experiences that your fans can relate to, and use these stories to inspire and motivate them.

Collaborate with your fans. Work with your fans to create content or participate in community events. This is why I live game with my fans (which features them on my streams). This will help you build stronger relationships and create a sense of shared ownership in your content.

Show vulnerability. Don't be afraid to share your struggles and failures with your audience. This will make you more relatable and human, and create a deeper connection with your fans.

Offer value beyond your content. Share resources, tips, & advice related to your niche that your fans will find useful. (Sex advice, gaming tips, tech you use) This will position you as a resource and create a sense of trust with your audience.

Finally, stay true to your brand and values. Your fans will appreciate authenticity and consistency, so make sure that your actions and content reflect your brand's mission and values.
