I went back and forth quite a bit on whether to invoke the word “crisis” and am a bit glad to see that the Overton window adjusted to include that having been a real risk on the same day: t.co/RYhOigFuG2

Speaking of Overton windows, note the significant and unfortunate point that political decisions about whether to permit banking crises or not hinge on whether it’s the kind of banking crisis that impacts bad people or not.
