Time and time again I've learned that whenever a new trend emerges…

The best play is usually to just go long the leader.

We tend to think:
“it's already pumped, let me look for the catch up play"...

But as long as new money is flowing in...

The leader captures the bulk of it. 

And it always ends up surprising everyone.

New liquidity gravitates towards the leader first…

Then filters down into the smaller coins in that niche.

When liquidity rotates within a specific sector…

Profits from the smaller coins often flow back into the leader.

This typically makes the leader a better R/R play.

And if at any point you think the leader will correct…

You definitely don't want to be exposed to anything else because they will just correct harder anyway.

Finally and perhaps most important is that it allows you to deploy with actual size.

For whatever amount of capital you're willing to risk to play that trend…

The bulk of it can comfortably be put into the leader. 

Everything else is a potential landmine…

or too illiquid…

And can't be aped into with meaningful size.

As an added bonus…

It's also the first in line to benefit from potential catalysts like:

- Exchange/perp listings
- Media coverage
- And other forms of adoption

When in doubt…
