One time when I was new to the gym, I saw a guy in the changing rooms with a ridiculously defined back.

He was so lean.

You could see all the muscles in his back.

But I went about it the wrong way.

I didn't understand why he was lean.

I thought he had gained "lean muscle"

I didn't understand that ALL muscle is lean.

You can't gain FAT muscle.

My method to get a back like this?

Consume the "lean muscle" protein bars and shakes.

If I could go back and have a word with myself, this is what I'd say
