The level of fitness where you unlock the majority of health benefits is low. You don't have to be able to complete an ironman or deadlift 500 lbs to have peak physical health.

Gaining muscle is response to a stress. Training is the stress. If it's not working, there's either too little or too much stress. It's more likely to be too much than too little.

"Have this rice cake, it's only 30 calories!" A rice cake is just air to me. 30 calories is not worth it for some air. Food's got to be worth the calories, whether it's a high or a low number - agree?

Going to start working out to gain muscle? Great! Just know: - You won't see results overnight - There's no point only doing this for 6 months - You'd better be in this for the long haul (decades) - Your life is going to change (for the better)
