Midjourney V6 understands natural language and grammar. Prompts with sequences of events don't always translate well, but you can describe an image with multiple panels - each with a different setting or action. This is an example of the result: [img:VWDFSynwZ]

I experimented with different aspect ratios to show the panels in a row, similar to a comic book style. I tried --ar 3:1 [img:wrQci0bUq]

This is --ar 21:9 [img:jvIjiy7yg]

And, the typical widescreen landscape --ar 16:9 (Prompt is on next post) [img:Qu7WvmVVf]

Three paneled image of cinematic stills. The first panel shows a child building a sandcastle on a sunny beach, the second panel shows the tide coming in at sunset, the third panel shows the beach at night with the sandcastle washed away and only the child's footprints remaining [img:bvJxDxGT_]

Shout-out to @clarinetcraft in the Midjourney Discord server Prompt FAQs for discussing this topic and tons of valuable information I've used over the past year 🏆 I encourage you to spend time reading Clarinet's deep dives into useful Midjourney topics and prompt tips: [img:vid-AGg-gC5KM]

Recap Consider prompting for a multi-paneled image when you want to see a series of events or actions in a sequence. Choose 2 to 4 panels and write the prompt with each panel described by number & the action or scene.

Specify the style you want for your result in the prompt. Examples are comic, illustration, painting, or cinematic still. I began this prompt with: "A three-paneled image of watercolor paintings." [img:V95CyZHPe]

Don't be afraid to experiment! There is always something new to learn. [img:LhCmDDNOn]
