Iโve seen engineering managers go back to being engineers - because that work made them happier than management - but this is the first time I hear an executive of a billion-dollar company do the same, at the same company. Amazing.๐ ๐ ๐ t.co/tAQibetC4t
Contrary to what it seems, this move is far more then just doing what you love. It also creates space for someone more motivated to step into that exec spot. Better for Mitchell, a great opportunity for those stepping up to fill the gap, and better for the company.
