Coinbase will start to recruit engineers in the EU the coming months as part of their international expansion. Similar to Stripe, the EU team will also build&own local bank and payments integrations. Coinbase is expected to pay top of the market, similar to Doordash, Meta etc.

“What do you mean by top of the market?” They will likely pay around €180-200K/year for seniors engineers (base salary+bonus+equity, all liquid). More for engineering managers and staff engineers. Very likely full remote. This is my prediction, knowing the market.
