We need decentralized alternatives to Wikipedia, as it’s run by a small group of ~500 admins and thus more centrally controlled than people think. That’s why I’m a seed investor in Golden. It’s a new approach that incentivizes the whole world to contribute to knowledge. t.co/ztrX4QzhzR
Because Wikipedia started in the early 2000s when much of the world was not yet online, its admins are not demographically representative. That’s why a Palestinian like @nasdaily with millions of followers is somehow considered less “notable” than a much smaller US media outlet. t.co/SAqHkv9bUg
