We made some improvements to Stripe Atlas, including a substantial patch for the founder experience of interfacing with the U.S. government.

It’s fun to be able to look at a regulation or bureaucratic process and say “Hmm, I get what you were going for there, but that is awful. How about I design an API compatible overlay on top and replace some of the bits which are close to pathological for a certain set of users.”

“What’s an example?” 83-b elections have the curious property that they’re the only paperwork done in the first few weeks of the company which *must be* physical paper, and if you forget to do them because e.g. no printer yet, you potentially just bankrupted yourself personally.
