some people would probably be surprised to hear that a lot of my last 2 years have been like this not precisely “nothing figured out”, but I’ve been in the sticky ugly gross place trying to figure out things outside my known zone t.co/xHP7Who3Aj

the easy elegant move would’ve been to just go harder on promoting my two books (I have a marketing background! I know how to do it!) but I don’t want to do that. I want to do other things. what things? I’m still figuring it out

which isn’t to say that I’m done with FAN or INT. They are lifelong works for me. I intend to return to them repeatedly. But a theme in both of those works is that you don’t know a thing entirely from inside it– so to honor those works I have to journey elsewhere!
