a fun lil mini-microcelebrity moment I had at a meetup a couple of weeks ago: most people didn’t know me so I got to have nice warm pleasant conversation with friendly strangers. then a couple of people who did know me asked to take selfies with me and it was so funny to witness-

the people I had just been having nice polite conversation with sorta widen their eyes and ask “are you… famous?” the vibe shifted! they became even more open and warm to me (which they already were!)
