I'm launching a recruiting agency with a few other heavy hitters here on Twitter and LinkedIn. It will be a rocketship. We are hiring great technical recruiters in a few specific niches (all US based roles). If you're in the space and want to take a chance, send me a DM.
Everybody keeps asking me if we'll raise money or if we plan to disrupt the space or if we'll create a marketplace with job boards and network effects. No. The staffing agency model isn't broken. I can use twitter to attract the best talent and get the message out there.
Find great people. Use social media to find great clients. And boom. A business that can do really well. Why do folks overcomplicate things so much? Am I missing something here with a blindspot?
I made a typo in the first tweet. Not just technical recruiter. Other potential niches: Professional services Private equity Real estate Finance Insurance Accounting
