Some of the questions on "aptitude" tests for kids are very abstract, but others merely measure how much you've read. Hypothesis: This is because the educational establishment consists mostly of people who are bad at math but read a lot.

@abombayboy Judging from their writing, the people who dominate the educational establishment don't have high verbal ability.
