The Special All India Fake GST Registration Drive was active in India from May 16, 2023 to July 15, 2023.

The drive was launched by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) to identify and eliminate fake GST registrations. The drive was successful in identifying and cancelling over 10,000 fake GSTINs.

The time period for the drive is over, but the CBIC has said that it will continue to monitor the GST ecosystem and take action against any fake registrations that are identified.
