Gujarat has 11.4 lakh taxpayers of whom 6.5 lakh fall under SGST. Of these, the first list of 2,500 suspicious entities has been prepared based on which verification is being conducted.

Based on risk parameters, a list of GST numbers has been prepared for verification by SGST and CGST officials.
