GST fraud busted in Maharashtra's Palghar, private firm's proprietor arrested A Goods and Services Tax (GST) fraud was busted in Maharashtra's Palghar district, and one person was arrested for defrauding the government exchequer of Rs 18.66 crore.

A proprietor of a private firm, allegedly issued fake GST invoices to the tune of Rs 18.66 crore. The Palghar GST officials have registered an offence against the Proprietor in the police station, and began a thorough investigation into the case.
