📢 GST Drive Harassing Middle Class and Small Businesses - Punjab Congress Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, has accused the CM Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government of betraying the people by enforcing what he describes as GST terrorism to fund political ambitions.

Warring claims that the AAP is looting the state's middle class and small business owners to finance its lavish election campaigns and extravagant advertisement budgets.

Messages are reportedly being circulated across districts, instructing government officials to conduct arbitrary raids on salons, beauty parlours, and cosmetic shops during the festive season, targeting them with undue pressure to check B2C invoicing. Warring states that AAP’s policies are causing psychological and financial strain on the middle class and business community.

“Entrepreneurs in Punjab are living in fear, not just of criminals, but of their own government,” he said. Warring believes that the GST enforcement drive, coupled with AAP’s rampant spending, will only worsen the state’s economy.
