Custom officials seize 700g gold at Jaipur airport Officials from custom department seized 700 gram gold worth Rs 43.12 lakh from a passenger coming from Bangkok at Jaipur International Airport.

Two women passengers coming from Bangkok to Jaipur via flight no. FD130 were intercepted, and a detailed interrogation resulted in recovery of two cylindrical shape of gold, one each of 350 grams, from both passengers concealed in the rectum, said Customs officials .

Officials said that the smuggled gold that was recovered has been seized under the provisions of Customs Act, 1962 and further investigation is underway.
