CGST team uncovers GST evasion of Rs 1.5 cr at two real estate companies in Jaipur

Central Goods and Services Tax Department (CGST) has succeeded in uncovering GST evasion of Rs 1.50 crore by raiding two real estate developers of Jaipur

.Anti-Evasion Team of CGST Commissionerate, Jaipur received secret information about non-payment of GST payable on Joint Development Agreement for purchase of lands at Riddhi Raj Builders located at Amrapali Marg,

Vaishali Nagar and Upasana Builder, Bapu Nagar in the city. After primary verification of info, the search action started. During the action, builders accepted their mistake before the officials & deposited Rs.34 lakh on spot.

The officers who went to take action have also seized some documents from both the builders, which will be investigated in detail. It is believed that more revelations will emerge.
