šŸ”· Background of the Original Circular (No. 29/2020): Issued by CBIC on 29th June 2020, the circular laid down a framework for facilitating the movement of export cargo originating from Bangladesh, intended for third country destinations, via Indian territory.

It permitted such transshipment through specified Land Customs Stations (LCSs) and onward transportation to designated ports or airports in India. The arrangement supported trade facilitation and regional connectivity between Bangladesh and other countries, using India as a transit corridor.
