🔹 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿: ✔ Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) ✔ Implemented in the public interest to refine import conditions for diamonds.

🔹 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 📌 Modification in Condition (v) of Notification No. 9/2012-Customs (9th March 2012) ✅ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀: 🔹 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀: ± 0.05 mm in diameter 🔹 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀: ± 0.07 mm in length and breadth 🔹 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: ± 0.01 mm 🔹 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: ± 1 cent
