𝟮) 🔠 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼-𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗥𝗡 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Invoice numbers like "abc", "ABC", or "Abc" will all be automatically converted to "ABC" by the system before IRN generation.

𝟯)🔄 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗦𝗧𝗥-𝟭 This change brings IRN generation in line with GSTR-1 reporting, which already handles invoice numbers in a case-insensitive manner.

🧑‍💼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝘅𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 Ensure that invoice numbering is consistent across systems. Avoid using different letter casing for the same invoice number, as this will now not create separate IRNs. If any clarifications are needed, reach out to the GST Helpdesk.
