What is the single most impactful piece of advice you’ve ever received?

One of my favorite pieces of advice I’ve ever received: Regret is much more painful than failure.

“Every journey—however big—consists of small steps.” “What you are scared of for the future becomes something of the past.” I recently found these pieces of advice in a letter that my late grandfather sent me after his triple bypass in 1995. I was 4-years-old at the time. t.co/g8358f8jWI
