Unpopular opinion on X: If you are active, resistance train & have a healthy body composition, you can eat some foods purely for enjoyment as a small part of your intake, even if they're not the most nutritious choices.

Workouts don't need to "kill" you to be effective. You haven't got to beat one or more muscle groups into oblivion. You haven't got to be soaked in sweat. You just have to make gradual progress over time.

A lot of people avoid exercise because they have negative emotions attached to it that stem from feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed in school. Strength training is nothing like that.

- Dips - Rows - Squats - Deadlifts - Chin-ups - Bench Press - Overhead Press With progressive overload for months and years... That's what works (and dumbbell/machine variations). Just get better at the basics and have patience.

Get your first two meals with fewer than 50% of your daily calories. Create a buffer for the evening - that's when it's harder to control calories.

5 weeks left in 2023. That could be 15-20 workouts and 30 days of a calorie deficit (took off 5 days because of Christmas and New Year). Don't just put everything off until January.
