Rigorous thinking starts by eliminating one question: 🚫 Don’t say “What do you want me to do?” Instead, say this: ✅ “I recommend X and here’s why it adds value to the business. Does this sound good to you?”

This reframe will help you get buy-in. Why? Because humans don’t like to think. We already have too much on our plates & are just trying to keep it together. So when a trustworthy, sharp operator (that’s you) takes the lead & suggests what to do... We breathe a sigh of relief

Eliminate “What do you want me to do?” from your vocabulary. Most reasonable folks are eager to hear recommendations that will improve the business and make their life easier. You already have a point of view--learn to refine and share it productively.
