I used to struggle to fall asleep because of stress and anxiety. One simple habit made a huge difference. Here’s what I did:

Grab a notebook and pen. Put it on your bedside table. When you get into bed, pop open the notebook and start writing. Total brain dump—nothing particularly targeted.

I started journaling for 5 minutes before bed. It’s super simple but can make a huge difference in relaxing your mind for a restful night of sleep. If you’re struggling to fall asleep, try this:

Get all of these thoughts down on paper as quickly as you can. Then close the notebook. 5 minutes, max. Do some light reading and go to sleep. You’ll find your mind is more at ease.

What’s on your mind? What’s causing you stress or anxiety? What did you forget to do today? What do you have to do tomorrow? What are you worried about?
